Duas
principais op{\c{c}}{\~o}es s{\~a}o consideradas: i) um
cabo\${''}\$, aonde o giro do vetor velocidade {\'e} obtido
Ambas as manobras
provocam modifica{\c{c}}{\~a}o na trajet{\'o}ria do
ve{\'{\i}}culo espacial. O objetivo principal {\'e} a economia
perda de energia do ve{\'{\i}}culo espacial. A manobra de
\${''}\$Swing-By assistida por cabo\${''}\$ {\'e} a
combina{\c{c}}{\~a}o do \${''}\$Swing-By puro\${''}\$ com o
pode causar. {\'E} suposto que a estrutura do tether j{\'a}
preparado para receber o ve{\'{\i}}culo. As
Propulsado\${''}\$. ABSTRACT: This research presents a study
about the orbital maneuvers that can be performed with the use of
impulsive propulsion and an intermediary passage by a celestial
body. Two main options are considered: i) a \${''}\$powered
Swing-By\${''}\$, that consists in a passage by a celestial body
combined with the application of an impulse in the spacecraft, and
ii) the \${''}\$tethered Swing-By\${''}\$ maneuvers, where the
rotation of the velocity vector is obtained through a system that
connects the spacecraft to a celestial body, using a cable. Both
maneuvers generate modifications in the trajectory of the
spacecraft. The main goal is fuel economy in space mission. The
\${''}\$powered Swing-By\${''}\$ has already been studied in
the literature, and an extension to consider a system whose orbits
of the primaries are elliptical around a common center of mass is
made here. The results show that applying an impulse in different
directions and points of the trajectory, combined with the
gravitational part of the maneuver, optimize the energy gain or
loss of the spacecraft. The \${''}\$tethered Swing-By\${''}\$
maneuver is the combination of the standard Swing-by with the
slingshot effect generated by a tether attached to the surface of
a body with the spacecraft at the other end. It is assumed that
the structure of the tether is already fixed in the body, in an
equilibrium point, ready to receive the spacecraft. The
equilibrium conditions, stability and force to allocate the
tether, are presented for different systems with regular and
irregular forms. The motivation of this work is to collaborate in
studies to send a spacecraft to an asteroid, inspired by the ASTER
mission, which is a mission proposed by several Brazilian
institutions and under study at this moment. At this stage, the
spacecraft should use a passage by the Moon to increase its
energy, so the possibilities studied here can be considered for
the mission, in particular the \${''}\$powered
Swing-By\${''}\$.",
